ManageUPS DCU helps simplify initial configuration and ongoing management of ManageUPS Adapters. DCU can be used with ManageUPS P and VP Series adapters as well as with 2nd and 1st generation adapters ("Legacy") ManageUPS adapters. DCU installs on a Windows computer (Windows 2000, XP, and 2003, 2008 and Windows 7-10).The simplified networking functions of ManageUPS adapters and DCU allow you to deploy adapters to remote locations first and configure them later via the network link.

    Simplified Configuration of ManageUPS
    With ManageUPS DCU running, any connection of a ManageUPS to the Local Network will be displayed. You can also specify an IP range to search for ManageUPS II and ManageUPS Legacy devices not on your Local Network.

    All in one device navigation
    Every ManageUPS Adapter on your network can be represented as in icon in a customizable tree style view.

    One click device management
    The tree view section links you to management and status pages of the ManageUPS device it represents. These links include status, email, network settings, remote shutdown, security, and snmp settings.

    • A ManageUPS (II or Legacy) must be installed on a network routable from your PC.

    • ManageUPS DCU only runs on Windows 2000, XP, and 2003, 2008 and Windows 7-10.

    ManageUPS DCU is a utility included with ManageUPS NET Adapter II. It can be installed by downloading the installer from the POWERVAR Connectivity website.

    If you do not have a ManageUPS Adapter installed on your UPS, but you do have access to the internet via ports 5055 or FTP, you may be able to use the search feature to add one of our on-line ManageUPS adapters to DCU's bookmark navigation tree.
